The Most Magical Place On Earth...

Updated: May 7, 2021

Quick note: Disney's 50th Anniversary Celebrations start October 1 2021 so email me at to start booking for what is sure to be an AMAZING event!

I have traveled to Disney World in Orlando since I was 4 years old and have been over 50 times. Why? Disney World has something to offer for everyone in any age group and the level of service attractions and resorts are not to be missed. Over the years I have taken family, friends and coworkers and helped plan vacations that have made even the non-mouse believer into a mouse ear wearing mickey bar eating fan. If you are going for the first time or are a seasoned Walt Disney World explorer, I have listed a few tips and tricks-

  1. Planning

Once you have selected travel dates, mark your calendar for 60 days out for the coveted Dining Reservations (Prior to Covid it was 180 days if staying on Disney property). Disney has a plethora of dining options; you can dine with a Character, have a Drink in a Star Wars Cantina, or have a romantic Dinner for two with views of some of the best Fireworks in the world. Disney currently is not utilizing the Fastpass program but you do still need to reserve which parks you want to visit on specific days of your vacation. You are currently allowed to park hop using this system. I will update as policies change at Disney Parks.

  1. Picking a Resort

First you need to decide if you want to stay on or off Disney property i.e.: inside or outside the Disney bubble. People often choose based on budget however there are a few magical extras you are entitled to when staying on Disney property including early access to the park, magical express (transportation to and from the airport to your resort), amazing theming, and complimentary transportation around Disney World during your stay. Disney has resorts for every budget and each with a unique Theme and feel. Ask yourself what you will be doing during your trip? Do you intend to go to the parks from open to close and not spend time at the resort other than sleeping and showershowering? Or are you going to spend your time exploring, relaxing and enjoying a resort day around the pool? You can stay in Polynesian Oasis or a Savannah with views of animals from your resort balcony if you can dream it Disney World most likely has an option for you.

  1. Plus, your vacation

Disney has many choices if you’re looking for something extra and memorable on your vacation. I have had a progressive dinner resort hopping on a private monorail car followed by a VIP view of the Magic Kingdom Fireworks, Rented a Cabana at my resort for a day with a private butler, Dined at Dessert parties with Character meet and greets and all you can eat snacks and drinks, and rode a nighttime Safari of the Savannah just to name a few. Whatever your interest there is something Disney can provide to make your trip memorable.

  1. Saving Money

While visiting Disney World can be costly there are a few things you can do to save money during your stay.

  • Order groceries to be delivered to your resort. There are several services that will arrange to drop off at your resort, so you have the essentials; bottled water, breakfast, snacks, and of course wine and beer.

  • If traveling with little ones, bring small souvenirs (Mickey Plush, Light Up Wand, Disney Shirt) you put them out in the morning before you head to the parks for a nice surprise and a little pixie dust.
